All you fashion and architecture lovers alike have to check out the Skin + Bones exhibition at Somerset House - its on now. Discover how over 50 internationally-renowned architects and designers 'fashion' buildings and 'construct' garments but what we're really excited about here at Stylistique is seeing garments by Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Comme des Garcons, Yohji Yamamoto, Eley Kishimoto, Martin Margiela and Hussein Chalayan in one place.
Then on June 18th The House of Viktor & Rolf exhibition opens its doors at the Barbican. It'll be the first time in the United Kingdom that an exhibition has been devoted to this highly influential duo - so don't miss it! The Barbican and the exhibition will be open untill 10pm every Thurday and is also part of Time Out's First Thursday, where as the name suggests, you'll get to experience art, culture and events every first Thursday of every month across 100's of different venues in East London.
Since we're on the topic of Time Out's First Thursday's, the people behind Hybird are putting on a clothes swapping night called "Feather Duster"at The Museum of London tomorrow (1st May) between 6-9pm. It's free but you have to bring an item to swap to get in. This is an excellent opportunity to spring clean your wardrobe and get a new outfit at the same time! There will also be a bar and music from DJ Marshmello Mike.
If you're not a museum or gallery fan but still want to soak in some culture, the Mayfair Paul Smith store has a exhibition dedicated to Gian Paolo Barbieri - a well know Vogue photographer. Here's a sneaky peek at a few of them but you have to see these beautiful images in real life to really appreciate them.
